Hopie’s impression of a bumblebee drinking nectar.
Welcome. We hope that as we share bits and pieces of life on Wolfhill that we can brighten your day, encourage you, and make you smile. Wolfhill Texas is a place where the love and hope planted by Mom and Dad when they moved to this small farm in 1961 has blossomed into a lasting family heritage.
He is such a cutie pie and such a good good baby. Recently we took some of the kids down by the pond to take a few pictures. I’ll post some of the others later but these few of Heath just could not wait any longer. Note the smile in the first few pictures…it did not last long. As soon as that third picture was snapped he fell right out of that little white chair and was not a happy camper after that!
“I just don’t want to smile anymore…” “But aren’t I just precious”

Aunt Jan went home to be with the Lord last week and we will miss her so very very much. She was a wonderful lady who was always there when I needed her. She made my wedding gown and touched my heart in so many ways over the years. I still have that wedding gown and I still love my Aunt Jan. Her family planned a beautiful tribute to her last weekend and we were so honored to be with them during the services. Love and prayers to you all…we will see her again…
This past week we took five of the grandchildren and Hope to Port Aransas for a few days. It was so much fun. We have the BEST grandchildren in the world. A few pictures of the trip down there to get started… The life of the party…Caleb. See those two sleepers on either side of him…the Bingham boys, they can sleep anywhere!
I believe Ronnie is thinking “I can’t believe I just spent almost fifty dollars in McDonalds”
Trying to stay cool and enjoying the kids and grandkids has filled our summer with memories. Just a few photos to share. Misty and the boys went to Hot Springs last week, they needed to get away for a couple of days and it really did them the world of good. Caleb drove the entire time with Misty as his co-pilot. Seriously she said he did very well. He is a good boy!! From a grandmother’s point of view any young man who is 19 and had his license since he was 16 and has not had a speeding ticket or any type of ticket…that’s just WONDERFUL!! I’ll post pictures of their trip later.
Hope thinks watermelon helps her stay cool during this long hot summer.
A little bit of sidewalk chalk amuses Sunnie and Bradley thinks you can stay cool by playing basketball in 100 degree weather. The View From Wolfhill really is beautiful this time of year! Audrey prefers the air conditioned playroom, and her pink pacifier. Of course this is Hopie’s favorite way to keep cool. She has amazed us this summer. She has learned to swim and can go all the way to the bottom and pick up a penny!
We recently visited my Aunt Jan (my Daddy’s sister) and enjoyed some time with her and her daughter. Aunt Jan is fighting a terrible disease and we pray she will improve and feel better. We love her lots and wish she was still able to come visit when we have family dinners. Maybe soon. We love you Aunt Jan!!! Hope really loves her Aunt Jan…so does Sunnie Kay
And so do we all!!!!!!!!!!!!
These pictures show a little bit of the fun we had here on Wolfhill this 4th of July. From swimming in the pool which by the way was a gift from our niece Sarah’s friend to sitting in the back of pickup trucks in the pasture watching the display of fireworks we had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunnie and Hope…those two girls just cannot get enough of that pool…they love it!! Audrey surprised us all by not being afraid of the water needless to say the ladder comes out of the pool and the back door has double locks. Heath and Nanny, she stopped by to say hello and wish us all a Happy Day. This time last year Audrey was about Heath size age
I suppose Bradley does look a little “redneck”…watching the fireworks from the top of the cattle trailer… Hope was just a little tired after the long day and decided not to swim at 10:00 pm with Ben and Sunnie!
We celebrated and enjoyed ourselves…we also remember fondly how much Wade LOVED shooting off fireworks and how he always insisted his boys be safe and really put on a good show for us…
