Christmas Eve...Wolfhill Style

Hope teaching Audrey the fine art of ripping open presents!!

Seems that every year Misty manages to put a bunch of bows on someone's head. This year it was Miss Audrey...so very very cute.
Christmas Eve is our family time together. I am thankful the girls have always made it a priority to be here with us on that day. Someday that will change but for now it is so special. We start the day cooking up a bunch of goodies. Late in the afternoon we have a wonderful meal together with some of my relatives and then later in the evening we go "over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house" actually it's just across the pasture, there we visit with Ronnie's sister and her family and eat dessert and dive into the gifts grandma has for everyone. Then it is back here for candle lighting and Ronnie reading the Christmas story from the Bible. It is so amazing how the kids get quiet and listen intently...it's my favorite part of the whole Christmas season. Then in a matter of moments all those presents under the tree get unwrapped and the fun begins again. We are so very thankful for our family and our Savior.

Christmas at Grandmas was fun...wall to wall family...

Cousins cousins cousins....four new babies this year at Grandmas...Miss Audrey Elizabeth was born the day after Christmas last year so this is her first Christmas even though every "Babies First Christmas" outfit we saw was way to small....Her little red velvet romper I purchased at Dillards (after Christmas for 2.99) two years before we brought Hope home. Beth kept saying "Mom don't give that away maybe someday I'll have a baby girl" (Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart) The other babies are Subeth's daughter Fallon Paige, Maddie's daughter Adyson, and of course John-Christian Heath
What a beautiful grandmother and granddaughter.

Our Grandchildren...are wonderful we are so very Thankful for them.

Sweet little Audrey...our precious little miracle child. She is wearing Sunnie's first Christmas dress and hat in this picture.

Sunnie Girl holding her precious baby brother...John-Christian Heath

Tyler our Cowboy who we can never get a good smile out of....I keep trying.

Caleb our oldest...18 years old a Senior in High School and a really really good kid.
Cutie Ben at his usual location in the recliner with the laptop playing computer games and laughing at funny utube videos.

And Bradley makes it very hard to get a good picture...these guys...they always cooperated when they were little what happened.

Miss Audrey was really on the go...it's hard on a one year old little girl to be still for pictures!!

The boys helping sack up the Christmas fruit and candy at church.

John-Christian Heath's first Sunday in Church. Ronnie's Dad would have said he looked like a little "Jelly Bean" That's what he always said about the boys when they were dressed up. We really miss him and fondly remember him during the holidays.

Looks like they are mighty proud of baby brother.

Bradley, Sunnie, Carmen, Heath, John, and Ben

Caleb, Misty, Wade, and Tyler

Beth and Jeff were not able to stop by the house for pictures after church but we are so thankful they were able to attend church with us.

Halloween Wolfhill Style 2009

Halloween...2009
A whole pile of cousins and friends make for a fun hayride!! The older guys were hiding in the trees along the way and tried to scare us but we were ready for them...better luck next year guys.

Oh my isn't she cute...Audrey's first Halloween and she loved it...by the way she is taking her first steps...we are so very blessed.

She is just so precious

And Carmen, John and the kids (and all of us around here) are waiting impatiently for the new addition to our family who should be making his appearance in early December.

A wiener roast, hayride, and some smores brought out the vampires ladybugs and leopards on
Wolfhill this Halloween... we really had some fun. Sunnie Kay, Audrey, Peyton and Hope Marie really really enjoyed the evening!
