Christmas Eve 2008

Christmas Eve Traditions...

We have so much fun around here on Christmas Eve...after eating way to much and stopping by Grandmas's for desert and gifts we gather back at home with all the girls and their families. We light the candles and Ronnie reads the Christmas story from the Bible...he usually sits in the recliner with a couple of kids on his lap but this year with Bethany on bedrest she took over that spot and Ronnie sat on the hearth. I love this tradition...the best part of Christmas for me. While Ronnie is reading I just look around the room and whisper a prayer of thanks for our family. We are so very proud of them and thankful for the blessing they bring to our lives. Christmas 2005 we had just received our log in date from China and thought we would have Hope home by Christmas 2006...but due to circumstances beyond our control we did not get to share Christmas with her until 2008. Last year we finally knew who she was and how old she was and were getting ready to go to China to bring her home...

Oh yeah...after the Christmas story then the kids favorite part...GIFTS...........!!!

A Wolfhill Christmas 2008

What a wonderful Christmas this was for our family...We waited several years to be able to share this holiday with our little girl from China and except for the last year we did not even know who she was or how old she was...what a difference a year can make. Also as most of our family and friends know our daughter Bethany and husband Jeff were expecting their miracle baby this year and little Audrey Elizabeth was born the day after Christmas. Beth had been told by several doctors that her chances of having a baby were pretty much zero but God had other plans and we are so very thankful for this precious Christmas blessing. I believe in miracles...we have two of them in our family this year.

So very glad to have more than just a picture this Christmas!

Bethany showing off the latest sonogram picture. One happy mom!

At the Annual Christmas Parade in town. Christmas at Grandma's House........with all the aunts uncles and cousins....what a wonderful tradition

Bobby with his "baby boy" Robert !

Gwen, little Ricky, Austen, Notika, Sunnie and Hope waiting by Grandma's tree to open presents.

The results...Grandma gave all the kids Christmas PJ's....yeah Grandma you made a lot of little ones so very happy!!

Aunt Doris and Uncle Rick. ( Sorry but my flash does some weird things to photos sometimes) I'm hoping for a new Cannon with lenses for mothers day....hint hint hint.

Carmen showing off her favorite Christmas gift..."Boo" her new puppy. Needless to say Boo was the life of the party as far as all the children were concerned.

Beth was on bed rest so she cheated a little and spent this part of Christmas Eve in Grandma's recliner.
Much more to come...
