Beijing Scenes

Here are some views of Beijing. There are two views of the Olympic facilities. Notice the presence of soldiers almost everywhere. They make you feel secure in one way and apprehensive in another. The lady with the baby is an example of how friendly the average Chinese people are. We really enjoyed Beijing despite the cold temps. It would be great to visit during milder weather, however you do feel the effect of the air pollution stinging the eyes and causing a slight choking up.
